Lisa Armstrong has been spotted looking glum days after Ant McPartlin returned to TV on Britain’s Got Talent without her.

The make-up artist, 42, used to work on the show alongside her husband but was axed following their split.

The latest series of the TV talent contest returned this weekend and despite losing her BGT gig, Lisa remains an in-demand make-up artist working on Strictly and other ITV shows.

Lisa wore grey tracksuit bottoms and a black top, with a stylish leopard print coat slung over her arm.

She’s still a regular on Strictly Come Dancing as the show’s head of make-up and hair, and recently worked on a high-profile Avon campaign with Megan Barton-Hanson.

Lisa is also going to be working on reality show The Only Way Is Essex.

When Lisa got dropped from Simon Cowell’s hit ITV show, a source told Mirror Online it would be “untenable” for her to continue working with Ant.

They said: “Although everyone is very fond of Lisa, it was clearly untenable to carry on working together.

“Ant and Dec are two of the most senior people on the show, sometimes these tough decisions have to be made.”

Another pal added: “Ant needs to make sure his return to telly goes smoothly.

“Producers are rallying around him. While Ant and Lisa are consummate professionals, executives want to create an environment in which he can thrive.”
